Bailey County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post a bond, or retrieve an official booking record. For those matters, use the government office that holds the record or supervises the person.

Official Bailey County Record Routes

Bailey County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Richard Wills
Bailey County Jail

405 West 2nd Street
Muleshoe, TX 79347
Sheriff and jail main line: 806-272-4268
Jail Administrator Vanessa Cervantes: 806-272-7619

The official sheriff page is the confirmed local starting point for current county-custody or booking-record questions. No separate records-unit number, booking-photo fee, designated public-information email, or response-time commitment was verified. The sheriff page publishes rwills@co.bailey.tx.us for complaint-form returns, not as a confirmed Public Information Act mailbox. Call the main line first and ask for the current public-information or records-request route before submitting a request.

The county publishes courthouse hours of Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Those are courthouse and county-office hours only, not stated sheriff-desk or jail hours. The jail's separate visiting-hours page gives operations information, but it is not an inmate search.

  • Current Bailey County custody or an existing booking record: begin with BCSO at 806-272-4268. The reviewed official site has no public jail roster or booking-photo portal. The home guide explains a focused written request for existing records under Texas Government Code Chapter 552.
  • A court case, charge disposition, or possible warrant: use the court or clerk that owns the matter. The County Clerk and District Clerk publish their own contacts. The Most Wanted Fugitives guide explains why Bailey County has no verified public warrant database.
  • A custody alert: Bailey County's official sheriff information directs the public to VINELink. It is a notification service, not a finding of guilt or a complete court history.
  • A sentenced state-prison record: use the official TDCJ offender search. It does not replace the county-jail route for a recent Bailey County booking, and TDCJ does not promise public offender photos through that search.
  • Federal or immigration custody: use the BOP inmate locator for applicable federal custody or the ICE Online Detainee Locator for applicable immigration custody. Those systems are separate from Bailey County Jail records and do not provide a county booking photo.
